iKare was founded in 2018 by Roger Gudmundsäter, Mikael Månsson, and Andrew Gent with a simple idea: to rethink how and where people want to live after retirement.

Established in 2021 as a Swedish-funded company, iKare specializes in the development and management of high-quality senior living resort apartments in attractive international locations. The concept combines independent living with a strong sense of community, supported by curated services and access to healthcare partnerships when needed.

In 2022, Pablo Manzanares joined the company to structure operations and transform the concept into a scalable, real-world model, laying the foundation for iKare’s first developments on the Costa del Sol.

In 2025, Eric Westerneng joined as CEO to lead the company into its next phase of growth and expansion.
